The Presidential race is rolling on, the economy is in the tank, we are still at war in two places and there are several places that we could be at war with at any minute and what happens next seems to rest on the shoulders of some folks known as independent voters. Who are these people?
Here is how I have been shown the basic makeup of our political system…
Social &..................... Economic..........................Economic..................Social &
Economic...................Conservatives......................Liberals.....................Economic
Liberals.......................Social...............................Social........................Conservatives
...................................Liberals.............................Conservatives...............................
LEFT <------------------------------------{*}--------------------------------------> RIGHT
Democrats ..............(Libertarians)........................................................... Republicans
The key to understanding the middle is the two groups located near the middle of this chart. The assumption in many people’s estimation is that we all neatly fit into either extreme or we are somehow not as educated or understanding of politics for some reason. In reality what you have is a difference of opinion on what is truly important from either extreme.
Because we tend to view American politics as a two party system the groups near the middle tend to not associate themselves to a party fully bet most often vote to the side that they appear on above. The social aspects of our society and thee social viewpoints of the voter, tend to drive the side they choose when voting on an issue or for a candidate. Thus, Social Liberals tend to the left and Social Conservatives tend to the right.
The truth is however that the groups near the middle always feel that they have sacrificed some ideal for another one in the interest of the greater good no matter how they decide to vote.
The problem comes when a subject such as the economy plays a big role in the picture. Now these people near the middle have to look to the other side of the chart to satisfy their feelings on the economy while attempting to close their eyes to what is normally their main concern, the social agenda.
Why is all of this important to this election? I think this might demonstrate a very simple reason behind why the pools are so slanted in Senator Obama’s favor. The Republican Presidential and Vice-presidential candidates have been speaking the language of Social and Economic Conservatives (also known as Republicans) with a fervor seldom seen in campaigns.
They have basically ignored the group (really groups) that all along have been described as the ones that will make or break this election year and may have alienated the “Economic Liberals Social Conservatives” group in manner that may have them leaning to left for a while to come.
The Obama Campaign has done a good job of finding ways to appeal to these middle groups and to unify the more left leaning voters. The key being that a candidate does not have to satisfy everything a person in one of the groups in the middle wants just whatever those groups find to be the most important at the time.
The only surprise in all of this is that the “Economic Conservatives Social Liberals” group is not gravitating to the right with Senator McCain. I would have to say that the tying of Senator McCain to the largely unpopular Bush administration coupled with the dislike a person who is a social liberal would have for many of the campaign tactics and attacks of the McCain camp have driven these people to stay with the group that they tend to run with anyhow.
I am an Economic Liberal Social Conservative type of guy and would normally be a McCain supporter, but have been driven away by the terrible nature of the campaign and the insanity that is Republican politics in 2008. I am not sure there is time left for the Republican ticket, but I am absolutely convinced that the damage to the republican party (particularly with voters in these middle groups) is massive and will be lasting. I hope Republicans can look at this and regroup or we will be stuck with a one-sided, left-leaning government for years until things get so out of hand that the pendulum swings the other direction.
Rush Limbaugh. You know there is trouble when something starts with that name. Today he rallied the “Republican Extremists” by saying that Colin Powell (normally a Republican) is voting for Senator Barack Obama because he is African American and that is the only reason.
- There is no possibility that he could be disgruntled at what he has seen over the past few years.
- There is no possibility that he really thinks that the campaign tactics that Senator McCain has undertaken were over the top.
- There is no chance that he actually watched and studied the candidates and picked who he thought was a better candidate.
- There is no chance that he actually thinks Barack Obama is going to better handle the campaign.
- There is no chance he has not bought the rhetoric and nonsense of the Republican Party.
All of those are absolutely impossible. How is it that all of these things are absolutely impossible and the only possibility is that this man is voting for Senator Obama, simply because he is African American? It would be different if he were saying it was just a factor or it may have pushed him over the edge but to say that was the only reason is to say in effect that the only way an African American person could vote for Senator Obama is because such a person could not be as Mr. Limbaugh. Because intelligent African American people could never disagree with the Republican Party.
Seriously folks? Who pulled the race card again?
When the race issue comes up because of this person voicing such stupid ideas I suppose that the (fundamentalist) Republican Party will suddenly cry foul and say the Democrats are pulling the race card. Let me say this clearly – RUSH LIMBAUGH JUST PULLED THE RACE CARD!
“Would Colin Powell endorse Senator Obama if he were a white Democratic?” That is the question Pat Buchanan asked on television.
Let me say this clearly – PAT BUCHANON JUST PULLED THE RACE CARD!
How come nobody ever says that maybe Pat Buchanan and Rush Limbaugh wouldn’t vote for McCain if he were an African American candidate. It seems like similar speculation to me.
These things are okay with the “Evil, Right Wing media” that allows such offensive things and thinks that anyone that is not comfortable with such things is somehow oversensitive and influenced by the crazy right wing media.
In the past few weeks there has been racist newspaper adds from the Republican Party, racist publications, outburst of anger, hate and racism at rallies, church and spiritual abuse and manipulation and these incredibly aggravating robo-calls. I can’t possibly see why anyone wouldn’t see how there is this big plot of the Left Wing to make the Right Wing look bad. Why do we need a plot when both sides do such a good job of making themselves look bad?
Us real Americans (that miraculously may not only live in the small towns Sarah Palin visits) who serve our country and die, fight in wars, pay our taxes (unlike this Joe the plumber person who we are tired of hearing about – but it’s okay the local plumbers union seems to support Obama), try our best to raise our children here, can read and write. Some of us are intelligent enough to know when we are being manipulated and don’t stand for it. Some of us have a little money, a little influence and do vote. The key is some of us, who Republicans keep calling the unreal Americans (which is very offensive to those of us who do not live in small towns or play hockey consider ourselves to be like pit-bulls) do not feel like people like this can bully us around. The Republicans may or may not win this presidential race, but they will inevitably lose far more political power than already lost over this campaign. There are some Republican politicians that I would have normally voted for who have already lost my vote and John McCain is dangerously close.
The way both candidates are running we now have our own running of the bulls that we must all run from or be killed but it is the running of the “bull.” Or better put the “Unleashing of the Idiots.” We are the greatest nation in the world, how do we get such idiots as politicians and then support them as if they are not idiots.
I may only be one voice, but the key is I am not the only one and this has moved from a discomfort to a cause. It is a shame that as a person who is diametrically opposed to many things that the Left stands for I may become a person who is more diametrically opposed to what the Right stands for than the Left. I guess that is where the middle is going to be and soon the people in the middle who tend to the Right (like me) and those who tend to the left are going to have to come together and seek our political voice and bring change from the stupidity that both of these candidates and those who support them have unleashed on our nation.
By the way, could somebody please slap the next person who uses the words “Joe the Plumber” no matter which party that person comes from. Joe the Campaign Plant or Joe the Liar (who doesn’t pay his taxes, is not buying any business, and the business he works for makes nowhere near $250k a year) is more like it. All Americans are not plumbers or in McCain-Palin world.
I’m a rugby-dad and you wanna know the difference between a rugby-dad and a pit-bull? If you tick me off I’ll never let go and I have a worse temper!
Semper Fidelis
“This is what keeps African-Americans from joining the
Republican Party," said Sheila Raines, a member of a San Bernardino County
Republican group. "I'm really hurt. I cried for 45 minutes. I would have
to say it is one of the things that will keep mixed independents from voting
for the party also (that would be me).
What makes somebody who is an African American member of the Republican party
get this offended. Possibly the picture in the local Republican newsletter
(Chaffey Community Republican Women, Federated) with Senator Barack Obama on
what appears to be a ten dollar foodstamp surrounded by a bucket of chicken,
watermelon, Koolaid, and ribs.
When is someone going to calm the Republican Party down? This is getting so
much bigger than this election. In the past twenty four hours I have heard and
seen more angry Republican faithful and more angry Republican blogs and emails
than I could have ever imagined was possible.
I have some understanding of the current feelings (as I tend to lean slightly
right of the middle), but the party is shooting itself in both feet and the
head with all of this chaos. Thos who are not far to the right are finding it
very hard not to think the whole party has not lost it’s collective mind. Then
early reporting states that the woman responsible (in the near Los
Angeles region of California)
did not think the image of Senator Obama with chicken, watermelon, and ribs
would be offensive. Oh I pray that there will be a report tomorrow that this
was a hoax.
You can blame the media coverage, the Democrats or whoever, but whatever is
happening; it is going to soon leave us with a one party government if this is
not toned down quickly. I am not even sure if the most left people in the
universe would want that to happen.
The Republicageddon is upon us and I really do not want to see it happen nor
can we afford it to happen. I hope and pray that someone with some sphere of
influence within the Republican Party would calm all of this down before this
escalates.
Those who are Democrats, please remain calm and do not escalate this any more
than it needs to be. Both sides need to calm down.
Again, we have really big problems right now as a nation without adding
insanity like this.
I received a strange message from someone trying to describe Senator Barack Obama's position on abortion and i was not even sure why I received this message.
I am sure the person who sent it had good intentions and wanted to help
me understand something I did not know. This person has set up their
profile in a way that it cannot accept return messages so I decided to
post my response here and I hope it clears up whatever misunderstanding
seems to have been formed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I think whatever our stand on this topic is, it is absolutely still not
the hill I want to die on. There are so much bigger fish to fry right
now that arguing over the possibility of one having an abortion should
be put aside for a moment and the real issues at hand need to be
addressed.
People are so angry and polarized over this one issue that all common
sense has been thrown out of the window and our government has become
absolutely paralyzed.
It would be so nice if our whole nation could put this whole thing on
hold and deal with the families that are alive right now loosing their
homes, starving themselves to be able to afford gasoline, hit by
disasters all over the country with no help in site (even from the
insurance companies they paid to help in these circumstances), living
adults (that are somebodies children) that are being killed all over
the planet because they volunteered to serve, fight, and die for us to
even be able to have this discussion. I think whether or not a person
has the right to do something that some believe to be evil and some do
not is an important discussion to have, just not right now.
I am not convinced that I want to sacrifice the lives of any of the
above named people or groups of people to win on this one issue. It is
a prevalent focus on both sides of the party lines that seems to be
setting principles above the lives of the people we have here with us
and seems to serve no master except whatever one is seeking to divide
and conquer our nation (on several different levels).
I cannot help but feel I received this message in response to one post
or another that you may not have read fully from beginning to end.
Plus if you are under the assumption I support either one of these candidates, you have definitely missed the point that "I
thoroughly think that both of the 'serious' candidates for president we
have are absolutely terrible choices and I am simply trying to figure
out which apocalypse I will be more comfortable living through" (which is the lesser evil in the broader sense).
The idea of voting for on or the other candidate on this one issue can
only leave me feeling that a person has a deep hurt of some kind that
has not been healed or that someone has led that person to believe that
is the biggest issue in politics and our current world and a simple
stepping out of the emotional content of all of this would make that
clear.
I have huge questions (particularly related to voting records) on both
candidate's stands on abortion, particularly relative to how I feel
about it, but again there are far more pressing issues. I am not
willing to sacrifice the lives of my children by picking a terrible
candidate just because we agree on this one issue. I am not willing to
sacrifice the lives of the men and women who I served in the military
with just to win a war of principles. I am not willing to sacrifice
the entire nation on this one issue.
If a person shows him or herself to be a good candidate for the job and
agrees with me on this issue that is another point in their favor.
But, if this person is terrible and all we have to agree on is this one
issue, only those suicidally committed to ideology would still vote for
this person. I just find it selfish to want to martyr the rest of us
in that pursuit.
Just as I was pondering the frustration I was feeling towards Rep. John Lewis (Democrat from Georgia) for his comments about the McCain campaign “sowing the seeds of hatred and division” and comparing Senator McCain to the infamous Gov. George Wallace the 1960s era segregationist from Alabama I was quickly corrected.
I was shown a link to an article, where a leader in local leadership of the Republican Party and in particular the McCain campaign, managed to make offensive statements that could offend African Americans, Latinos, homosexuals, the entire continent of Africa, French people. German people, and British people, and even some Christians and Jewish people with his repeated use of the term Messiah to refer to Senator Obama.
This man’s name is Bobby May treasurer of the Buchanan County Republican Party and apparently Buchanan County campaign chairman for Senator McCain. You can view what I saw if you click here.
I have been hoping for the past hour or so that there would be a news release stating that this whole article thing was fake and that somebody made up the whole story. Every indication is that this is true.
There are references to such things as:
· Senator Obama skimming money from the money sent for aid to Africa to allow his family in Africa to free their goats and live the American dream.
· Senator Obama having Rapper Ludacris paint the Whitehouse black.
· Senator Obama exchanging the national anthem for the “Black National Anthem”
· Senator Obama replacing the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy with the (are you ready for this stupidity) “a queer in every foxhole…” I didn’t finish the title because the rest may be a little over the top.
· Then there is that things the Republican party has started doing where they say Senator Obama’s full name emphasizing the Hussein. He calls him Barack Hussein Obama. (Don’t these people know how childish that looks and sounds to those of us who are not extreme Republican loyalist – i.e. the swing voters)
There is more. This apparently was supposed to be funny, but is simply another black eye on the McCain campaign. In Senator McCain’s defense, he fired this man from his campaign, but again, I am not sure you can unring the gong once you ring it (even if someone else rings it for you).
With all of the work over the past few weeks to try to tie Senator Obama to terrorism, it sure seems like it has been so easy to tie Senator McCain to racists (and by association to being racist) that Senator Obama did not even have to try.
Again I say as I did in the last post, Senator McCain should announce another suspension of his campaign (I know it may seem a little insincere, but is probably the right thing to do) and get together with Senator Obama to see what they can do to bring the stupidity level down a bit on all sides.
Someone is going to end up elected no matter what; the big problem is what the long-term costs of this campaign season will be.
I feel as if I owe Rep. John Lewis an apology because it seems that what he was saying about sowing the seeds of hatred and division appears to have been true. I still think the George Wallace comparisons may have been a little over the top, but clearly I did not understand how bad this has been allowed to get.
I am also thankful that Senator McCain has decided to try to change the course of this whole mess. It takes a big man to stand up against something like this at the rick of loosing votes.
I was wondering how long this was going to take. Rep. John Lewis (a Democrat from Georgia) pulled the race card on the tone of the McCain campaign this week.
This normally would anger me as much as the tone of the McCain camps past two weeks if it were not for the fact that people at McCain rallies were screaming things about killing Senator Obama and screaming out racial epithets without a flinch from the McCain camp until it hit the news.
I honestly do not believe that Senator McCain had any intention of playing on the racism of the people at those rallies and the rallies of Governor Sarah Palin. My suspicions seem to be confirmed by the very honorable move of Senator McCain when he started to finally speak out against such things.
What I think Senator McCain’s campaign is guilty of is attempting to play on the fears and anger of the people within the Republican Party to stir up votes. This can be a very effective move but, it is sort of like throwing bloody meat into a group of sharks. Sometimes you can get relatively controlled and expected results and sometimes the feeding frenzy can go completely out of control and the sharks will even bite each other (eyes closed) in the wild frenzy the ensues.
When Senator McCain tried to lower the temperature of the party a bit with some positive comments, the crowd actually started booing. It’s like the sharks were going crazy biting everything in site and suddenly he pulled the meat out of the water. The images I saw were the sharks wanting to jump into the boat to attack Senator McCain.
Rep. Lewis sure seems to have made his comments at a strange time. I am not sure why this was necessary no matter how one feels about what was going on.
I was encouraged to hear that the Obama camp immediately issued statements to the contrary. I am not sure that the statements of both candidates were not too late. Sort of like “unringing” the gong.
I also have to wonder if Rep. Lewis thinks he is helping Senator Obama or the country by throwing meat into another group of sharks. The McCain camp (in particular one Governor Sarah Palin) has been stirring the anger, fears, and tensions of the American people on both sides of the argument at one of the scariest times in our history. Now this Lewis person (which immediately brings the one word question “Who?” to my mind), seeing the escalated tensions decides to add more fuel to the fire.
What is wrong with these people? I have to wonder if they are seeking to create enough political unrest to implode our whole government system. If the tension of this presidential election is raised any more we may be able to classify this whole election as an act of terrorism before long.
I am not sure that this might not have been the more appropriate time to suspend campaigns. All this going to meet with the president for photo ops on bailouts is nowhere near as important as the escalation of tensions between the various demographics that make up out nation.
Imagine the candidates doing something like deciding to spend the next few days calming both sides down and unifying the country instead of focusing on getting elected. They could suspend the debate and just have interviews at different times where they answered the tough questions in front of an audience and thus eliminate the feeding of the reality TV hungry sharks that we have all become. Some of us circling sharks will be disappointed that we won’t see one of the candidates get chomped on, but the greater good would definitely be served.
What ever happened to the idea of doing what is right and serving the greater good?
What is wrong with everyone? I keep hearing and reading peoples reasons for who they have decided to vote for and I have never been so disgusted in my life.
Let’s look at some of these reasons:
- Because Senator Obama is African American
- Because they do no think that the country is ready for an African American president.
- Because Senator Hillary Clinton would be the first woman president
- Because Senator Obama would be the first African American president
- Because Senator John McCain is a veteran like me
- Because I think Senator Obama is a secret Muslim
- Because I do not trust his wife (either Senator McCain or Senator Obama)
- Because he or she is too rich I will vote for another (has there ever been a poor president in say the past hundred or so years – how about ever)
- Because I feel he or she was rude to my favorite candidate I will do anything to spite them even vote for a candidate I don’t like.
- “I don’t give my vote on the first date.” “I need to be courted.”
- I don’t like him that much but I will never vote for a Democrat
- I don’t like him that much but I will never vote for a Republican
- The Republicans don’t like African American people
- The Democrats don’t like Christian people
And on and on the list goes on.
Where are ideas like: The most qualified, who will do the best job, who most represents your values? What we have is wild generalizations, wild accusations, bigotry of different sorts not the least of which is racism, spite, and ultimately stupidity.
How can any human being truly place wellbeing of our country, the lives of the people that live here including our children, the peace of the entire world and all of the rest of the spheres of power or influence that the president has into someone’s hands for such reasons.
People! Each one of our votes is precious and a presidential election is not a game of Monopoly with toy pieces, play property to buy and have taken by the bank, and play money. This is our lives involving real people, real homes in foreclosure, taken by real banks, and we are spending real money.
Even more astonishing is the fact that people are even so bold as to think it is okay to say these things publicly and even on television.
The entire planet is watching one of the most powerful nations in the world (the most powerful in the eyes of many) in the democratic process it has repeatedly told the world is the best system going. Then we show the entire planet this nonsense as the way we chose our leadership.
The facts are that we have two candidates that do not really represent anyone in any party. We asked for change and got confusion. We asked for non-partisan and we got people who really believe in nothing and stand for nothing.
They build a pretty good case for what they say they stand for, but the evidence is that they stand for nothing.
The fact that so few people even care to look that deep is a disgrace and an embarrassment.
I have come to a conclusion. If you vote for one of these stupid reasons, don’t vote, or vote in line with my biggest pet peeve; voting simply by party, you have no right to complain later no matter who is elected and what they do.
In an interview with the Rocky Mountain News on Monday, Independent Party presidential hopeful (it is hard to type that without believing it should be followed by a punchline), Ralph Nader, made some very interesting statements.
When asked what is different about Senator Obama relative to other democrats he has run against, he stated that the only difference was that Senator Obama is “half African-American.” Oh yes he did. He went there.
He also said that Senator Obama is trying to (are you sure you are ready for this, hold on to your chair) “talk white.”
Did a person running for president actually accuse another candidate of talking white? Seroiusly?
It is interesting that the other candidates have mostly relied on their supporters and spouses to say incredibly stupid things, but not Mr. Nader. He doesn’t need others to do his “stupid” work, he is perfectly capable of doing that himself.
This crazy candidate (I will avoid the other descriptive terms that come to mind) even took a shot at Jessie Jackson while trying to explain why Senator Obama is talking white. He stated that one of the reasons he is talking white is (hold on, I have to compose myself) he doesn’t want to “appear like Jessie Jackson.”
Holy smokes!
Is this guy for real? I seriously think he has come to believe that he can gain more support than he has gotten in past elections by getting the racist vote.
Remember all of the talk about voter who said race mattered in the elections mostly voting for Senator Clinton. It seems he heard that and decided that being a racist was his best bet in trying to get support.
I have looked at comments on several blogs and some chats on the subject and this foolishness seems to have some support.
As for me, a person who does not belong to political party, I have to say I hate to have to refer to myself as an independent voter for fear that I will be associated to such an person (I’m being politically correct and nice instead of using many of the other descriptive terms that come to mind for this person).
Just to leave us with a thought, what exactly are the implications of saying that a person of color or of mixed origin can attempt to “talk white?”
Is he referring to that fact he does not use slang or “Ebonics” or sound like any of the rap stars on the television. That would mean that he is saying that those who are white and “talk white” are okay in sounding educated, but any person of color or mixed origin who “talks white” is faking it to distance themselves from someone (as Mr. Nader implies) as stupid as Jessie Jackson or other persons of color.
Is he saying that “talking white” speaks of people who have money and that he is avoiding talking about those in the inner cities and poor neighborhoods of our country. As if there are no people of color in these better neighborhoods and only people of color live in poor areas and inner cities.
Need I go on? How dare anyone who is not a publicly proclaimed racist support this man. This is an assault on our sensibilities and the Independent party has a responsibility to all of us who call ourselves Americans to pull the plug on this racist madman.
What is going on in the presidential race? Democratic Senator Barack Obama went at republican Senator John McCain with both guns blazing in discussing the economy and I began to think: “Finally, we will get to the real issues.”
Boy oh boy was I mistaken. I was all ready for Senator McCain (who is now known for being weak on matters of the economy at the worst time ever for that to be the case) to get with his advisors and start devising strong solutions for our economic woes. Then I pictured this huge back and forth campaigning where two different plans that would both make some sense would be brought before the American people and we would all be thinking; “Wow, what great candidates.”
This however, was not what happened. Senator McCain went back to that absolutely stupid “Gas Tax Holiday” idiocy that helped us all understand economy was not his strength. Then Senator Hillary Clinton supported it also and some of the cooties of being economically illiterate seemed to get on her and her campaign.
I thought; “That’s it? All of those campaign strategists and speechwriters and whoever else in his political entourage and that is it?”
But, no it was not. Then he went back to this town hall meeting idea. I admit it is a pretty cool idea, but seriously, one candidate is just going to dictate how another candidate is going to campaign for the entire summer and this other candidate is expected to just agree and go along with this? (Is this one of those places where people on the internet us the letters “LOL?”
I personally believe that both candidates that are left from the two major parties have these gaping holes in their qualifications for president (particularly saying lots of things that neither of their voting records support), but if this is the best Senator McCain can come up with against a person with a gift for speaking and a charisma that attracts so many, Senator McCain will be reduced to a straw man for Senator Obama to knock over.
If there are any advisors to Senator McCain reading this, please gather some experts on the economy and draw up something substantial that will appeal to the public. Then spend some time educating Senator McCain on this plan. Once that is done release him on the public with these fresh new ideas and a solution to a real problem in the here and now. That will make him a solid candidate and definitely make the race more interesting.
I suppose Senator McCain may have such plans and be keeping them hidden is his grand plan to unleash this weapon of mass destruction on Senator Obama during these town hall meetings, but let’s face it, that is not going to happen. An I am not sure if it were to happen that the results would be what Senator McCain expects. I remember a debate between the Republicans that was televised on CNN that had an approval meter that was on the screen the whole time. The relevant fact here is that almost every time Senator McCain spoke the meter shot down. That went double when he got excited or agitated.
I think to win, Senator McCain better come up with more than the stuff he has put out there so far.
If Senator McCain does not retool his message, this will be one of those really boring elections where one candidate just sinks fast as soon as the votes start to be cast. Today I was aghast at his lack of anything to say and found his whole message just plain boring.
Just as Senator Hillary Clinton and former president Bill Clinton pulled the sexism and conspiracy by the media cards the supporters of Barack Obama have decided to pull out the ace in the Obama camp hole this weekend: The race card. Or is it the “Pastor’s Lost His Mind” card.
This is unexpected however. It was not a certain Mr. Wright it was a Caucasian priest named Rev. Michael Pfleger. I guess all that talk about Senator Obama not getting Catholic support is out of the window (a joke of course but wait until you hear the rest).
He made statement recently like: There’s “a whole lot of white people crying” because the presidency is within the reach of a black man, and informing us that Hillary Clinton is crying because “there is a black man stealing my show”, or his favorite Hillary quote “I’m white and this is mine”.
The real humor is in the fact that this is all support that Senator Obama doesn’t really want, but it keeps finding not only him, but finding it’s way into the media. He has been trying to work feverishly to distance himself from this person and his comments, but here we go again.
You have to ask yourself if these people are actually supporters of his or some kind of political double agents sent in to sabotage his campaign. It seems that all of the strongest supporters of all three of the candidates cannot help but doing things that hurt the one they are supporting.
Are we all ready for a few weeks of listening to sermons from Reverend Pfleger.
The current primaries give me the sensation of being a three ring circus. It starts with an announcer and a big build up. Then all sorts of things start happening, too much to even follow. But, soon one main attraction starts then another in the next ring, and then a third in the other ring. When that happens you just have to keep switching from ring to ring watching what is going on until you get bored with that one then you move your eyes to the next ring.
I believe that the extended nature the prolonged Democratic primary and the desperate nature of Senator Clinton’s actions have been too much for supporters of all three candidates. Their supporters have all resorted to pulling the most divisive of cards from their bags of tricks.
